Creating and Building Collections in your workspace.

Overview:

In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the steps to create and build collections in Sourcery. Collections allow you to group products together, making it easier to manage and collaborate on your projects.

Step 1: Access Sourcery

1. Go to the Sourcery App:
   Navigate to app.gosourcery.com.

Step 2: Create a New Collection

1. Navigate to the Collections Tab:
   Click on the "Collections" tab, and then click the “+” button located in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.

2. Add a Collection Name:
   When the collection creation dialog appears, enter the name of your collection. For example, "My Cove Lighting."

3. Save the Collection:
   Click "Save" to create your collection.

Step 3: Add Products to Your Collection

1. Enter Your Collection:
   After saving, you will be taken into your newly created collection. Click the “+” button again to add a product.

Option 1: Add an Existing Product from Your Workspace

1. Search for an Existing Product:
   Click on "Find an existing Product record from Collections in the Workspace." This will open a product reference dialog box.

2. Search for a Product:
   Use the search function to look for a specific product, such as a "Cove light."

3. Select and Follow the Product:
   Choose the product you want to add and click "Follow." This action links the product to your collection without creating a copy.

Option 2: Add a Product from a Website

1. Navigate Back to the Plus Button:
   Click the “+” button again and select the option to add a product from a website.

2. Search for a Product:
   For example, search for an eW Cove product from Color Kinetics.

3. Insert the Product Link:
   Enter the product’s website link in the designated field.

4. Click the Import Button:
   Click "Import" to use Sourcery’s AI, which will scrape the website and auto-fill the product details for you.

5. Review and Edit Details:
   While the AI works, you can manually edit any fields that need adjustment. For instance, you can select "Cove Light" as the product type.

6. Save the Product:
   Once the necessary data is populated, click "Save" to add the product to your collection.

Option 3: Add a Product from the Community

1. Go to the Community Tab:
   Navigate to the "Community" tab to search for products shared by others.

2. Search the Community:
   Use the search function to look for "Cove lights."

3. Select and Follow the Product:
   When you find a product you like, click "Follow" to add it to your collection, just as you did with the workspace product.

4. Confirm the Addition:
   When you click the follow button, your collection name will appear. Select your collection, checkmark it, and click "Done."

Step 4: Confirm Your Collection

1. Review Your Collection:
   Navigate back to your collections page to confirm that the product has been successfully added.
