- Initial Search: Begin by searching for specific products, like an "acoustic light," to familiarize yourself with the range of available options, including both verified and non-verified products.
- Identifying Verified Content
- Verification Indicator: Look for the checkmark symbol, which signifies verified content, ensuring reliability and manufacturer maintenance.
- Recommendation: Prioritize engaging with verified content for the most accurate information.
Engaging with Pages and Collections
- Exploring Manufacturer Pages: Dive into a verified manufacturer's page to discover more about their offerings.
- Following for Updates: Use the "Follow" button to add pages and collections to your community page, granting easier access and updates on future changes.
Expanding Your Community
- Sustainable Product Search: Conduct searches for specific themes, like sustainable products, to enhance your community's diversity.
- Category Exploration: Utilize the option to expand categories for a more detailed search experience.
- Community Integration: Following a collection will integrate it into your community page, alongside previously followed pages.
The "follow" feature ensures you receive automatic updates from manufacturers, reflecting Sorcery's commitment to real-time content accuracy.

With your selected content followed, you're now equipped to personalize your community by creating unique collections or integrating products into your projects.

Customize a Verified Record and compare to the original
Overview:
In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the process of customizing a verified product record and comparing it to the original to check for any changes made by the manufacturer. This is a crucial feature that ensures your customized records stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturer information.
Step 1: Open the Verified Record
Select the Product:
Navigate to the verified product you wish to customize. For example, "Pilot Exterior (PEX) Color Changing."Click "Edit":
To begin making changes, click the "Edit" button.
Step 2: Customize the Record
Add Notes:
In the editable fields, add notes about the product’s uses or preferences. For instance, you might note, "Great for Backlighting. Use the 30x60 Optics."Review Available Optics:
Take a look at the available optics, such as "10°X10°, 10°X30°, 10°X60°, 15°X15°, 15°X30°, 15°X60°, 30°X30°, 30°X60°, 100°X100°, Asymmetric."Select Preferred Optic:
If you have a preferred option, such as "30°X60°," narrow down the selection to this specific optic.Add Confidential Information:
Because the product is in your collection or workspace, you can add confidential information like pricing. This allows you to track important details specific to your needs.Click "Update":
Once you’ve made all desired changes, click "Update" to save your customized record.
Step 3: Understand the Verification Status
Notice the Verification Badge:
After updating, you may notice that the green verification badge has turned red. This indicates that the verified record has been modified.Understand the Implications:
It’s important for you and your team members to recognize that a modified verified record may differ from the manufacturer’s latest version.
Step 4: Compare with the Original Verified Record
Click "Compare with Verified":
A new button labeled "Compare with Verified" will appear. Click this to compare your customized version with the live information from the manufacturer’s workspace.Review the Comparison:
On the left side, you’ll see the manufacturer’s current information, while your customized version will be on the right. Scan through both versions to identify any differences.Confirm Modifications:
If your modifications, such as optic changes, are still valid, you can confirm them. For example, if the "30°X60°" optic is still available, your customization is up-to-date.
