Overview:

In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the steps to create a new workspace in Sourcery. This can be helpful as your team grows or if you want to organize different teams into separate workspaces.

Step 1: Access Sourcery

  1. Go to the Sourcery App:
    Navigate to app.gosourcery.com.

Step 2: Activate the Workspaces Menu

  1. Open the Workspaces Menu:
On the left-hand side of your screen, click on the gear icon to activate the workspaces menu.

Step 3: Create a New Workspace

  1. Scroll and Click the Plus Button:
Scroll to the bottom of the workspaces menu and click the “+” button to add a new workspace.

  2. Fill in Workspace Name:
In the name field, enter the name of your new workspace. For example, "Sourcery Specifier Team 2."

  3. Add a Workspace Description:
In the description field, you can add a brief description. Don’t be shy—gloat a little! For instance, "We are the best team!"

  4. Add an Image:
Upload an image that will be used on your exports. This helps personalize the workspace and its associated projects.

Step 4: Save Your New Workspace

  1. Click "Save":
Once you've filled in the necessary details, click "Save" to create your new workspace.

Step 5: Access Your New Workspace

  1. Locate Your New Workspace:
Your newly created workspace, "Sourcery Specifier Team 2," will now appear in your list of workspaces.

  2. Start a New Project:
When you switch to this new workspace, you’ll see it’s fresh and ready for new projects. To get started, click on the option to create your first project.

Conclusion:

Congratulations! You now know how to create a new workspace in Sourcery. As your team expands, you might consider setting up multiple workspaces to keep things organized and efficient.
