Tutorial: Setting Up Your Account and Workspace in Sourcery
Step 1: Access the Account Setup
Click the Avatar Icon:
As shown in the image, click the Avatar icon in the top-right corner.Click "My Account":
Select "My Account" from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Personalize Your Profile
Add an Image:
Click the “+” icon to add an image of yourself. This helps others recognize you and facilitates collaboration.Upload Image:
Choose an image from your device to upload.Resize and Upload:
Resize the image as needed and then click "Upload" to finalize.
Step 3: Enter Your Personal Details
Enter Your Name:
Click the “Name” field and enter your full name.Enter Your Company Name:
In the “Company” field, type the name of your company.Enter Your Project Role:
Specify your role in the project, such as "Lighting Designer," in the “Project Role” field.Enter Your Job Title:
Input your job title, for example, "Principal."Enter Your Location:
Provide your current location in the designated field.Click "Update":
Click the "Update" button to save all your changes.
Step 4: Set Up Your Workspace
Open the Workspace Toolbar:
Navigate to the left sidebar and click to expand the workspace toolbar.Click the "Settings" Wheel:
Select the settings wheel icon to access workspace settings.Rename Workspace (If Needed):
Update your workspace name if required.Add a Workspace Description:
Click the “Description” field and add a brief description of your company, such as “We are the best lighting design team in the world!” You can also leave it blank if you prefer.Add a Workspace Logo:
Click the designated area to upload your company logo. This logo will appear on all exports in the title block.Click "Update":
Once you’ve made your changes, click "Update" to save them.
Completion:
Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed your basic account setup in Sourcery. Your profile and workspace are now ready for collaboration.
